At Zephyr Helicopter, we have the equipment and the experience to perform a variety of high altitude helicopter services. Our Part 135 Charter Certificate from the FAA allows us to pick up and drop off passengers in various locations, including remote site access for a variety of missions. We also have a special permit from the US Bureau of Land Management for access to BLM Lands in the region. If your job requires a ground crew, we can provide safe and experienced personnel or work with yours to complete the job.   

Commonly requested services include Utility Patrols, Survey Flights, Aerial photography, Ferry Flights, and Charter Services. We also respond to Search and Rescue and other emergency mission requests, and have worked with local authorities across the region including Colorado, Utah, Wyoming, Nebraska, New Mexico, and Arizona..

Our Chief Pilot is a Certified Flight Instructor, with thousands of hours of mountain flying experience. If you are already rated as a helicopter pilot and are interested in high altitude helicopter instruction in Colorado, please contact us for more information. The Steamboat Springs area is a perfect training ground for someone aspiring to be a mountain helicopter pilot.
